The Catholic Church believes that the encounter of a married couple is a choice, a calling, and a grace from God that surpasses human understanding, and to live bound by the ties of marriage is a true happiness for humanity.
The Catholic Church, entrusted by Christ with the mission to spread His grace, play the role of supporting and strengthening your decision to marry before God, the Giver of Life and joining you in prayer for His blessing.
Here at Toshima Church, we are delighted to walk with you through your spiritual and emotional preparation for marriage and the joyous occasion of your wedding. We also remain by your side on your life's journey after marriage, continually praying for God's blessings upon you. We warmly welcome the opportunity to celebrate this important milestone in your lives together.
Catholics are required to marry in the church, but non-believers can also apply.

We accept individual farewell ceremonies for pets, so if you are interested, please contact us.

1. Please be reminded that a church is a place of prayer. Please contact the parish priest first.
2. Please note that weddings cannot be scheduled on certain days due to the liturgical calendar, church events, or kindergarten activities.
3. Please notify your home parish/church of your application for marriage at least five months prior to your desired wedding date.
4. Those who wish to have their wedding ceremony at a Catholic church even for non-believers are required to take a marriage preparation course to understand the Church's teachings on marriage and obtain permission from the priest. Please consult the parish priest regarding the date and time.
5. Wedding for non-believers can have a wedding ceremony at a Catholic church based on Catholic teachings.
6. Regardless of whether you are a believer or a non-believer, those who have been previously married cannot be accepted for a church wedding ceremony immediately. Please consult the parish priest if you wish to arrange one.
7. If you wish to hold an engagement ceremony, please consult the parish priest individually.

Preparations for the wedding ceremony's liturgy will be handled primarily by the “Wedding Group.”

The marriage course consists of four to five sessions, including a rehearsal.

Hair and makeup, costumes, rings, and photography are to be arranged independently.
